Nathalie C. Zeitouni, MD, CM, FRCPC, FAAD

Dr. Nathalie Zeitouni is a nationally recognized, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and expert in the multidisciplinary management of cutaneous oncology. She currently serves as Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and as Adjunct Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Zeitouni’s clinical and academic expertise spans prevention, treatment, and research in skin cancer, Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery, and melanoma. She is particularly renowned for her leadership in photodynamic therapy (PDT) and her work with rare and aggressive cutaneous malignancies, including Merkel cell carcinoma, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, and extramammary Paget’s disease.

A passionate researcher, Dr. Zeitouni has been the recipient of multiple grants from the National Cancer Institute and industry sponsors. She has authored over 140 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and is a sought-after speaker at national and international medical conferences. She is also the co-editor of the textbook Dermatology and Solid Organ Transplantation (Series in Dermatological Treatment), which offers practical and evidence-based guidance for dermatologic management of transplant patients.

She has served in numerous leadership roles throughout her distinguished career. Previously, she was Chair of the Department of Dermatology and Director of the Mohs Surgery Fellowship at Roswell Park, Vice Chief of Dermatology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and Section Leader at the University of Arizona Cancer Center at Dignity Health Medical Center.

Dr. Zeitouni is a current board member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is also a former board member of the International Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative (ITSCC) and is widely respected for her clinical acumen in managing skin cancers in solid organ transplant recipients.
